"May I never be complete. May I never be content. May I never be perfect. Deliver me, Tyler, from being perfect and complete."
-Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk
This is my favorite quote from one of my favorite books and favorite authors.
This quote means so much to me. Take me away from the expectations and rules of society. Stop this rat race towards meaningless possession. Free me from being done, complete, whole - because what would we do if we ever became complete?
Life would be meaningless. Like finishing a video game. Where would we go from the end?
So yes, save me from perfection. Save me from never having something to work for, towards, or on.
Let me be forever a work in progress.

30 Day Challenge (Deep Thoughts): Day 1
December 30, 2010
1. What happened today? If it was the last day of your life, how satisfied would you be with your final hours?
Well I certainly picked a bad day to start this on. What happened today?
I woke up at around 10AM, then went back to sleep and finally got up at around 2:30PM.
I ate breakfast, took my birth control, and refreshed Tumblr and Facebook way too many times.
Tonight I have rehearsal at 7:30PM in Davis.
And that's about it.
If this was the last day of my life, I have to admit it would be pretty lame.
If I could choose a way to spend my last day, I think I'd spend it going on a long date with a lover and then an evening of being skin to skin.

Infinite
Do you ever look up at the night sky and feel infinite?
No matter what problems I have, big or small, no matter how I feel or what I look like - when I look up at the stars nothing seems to matter. I remember that everything and everyone is connected. Part of greater whole. A collective consciousness.
